Recovery Center locations

Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs), set up by FEMA in coordination with the state, provide access to federal, state and other disaster assistance programs. At a DRC, individuals can apply for SBA federal loan assistance, including low-interest and deferred-interest loans for homeowners, renters, and businesses. SBA staff are on-site to guide applicants through the process.

Business Recovery Centers (BRCs) are staffed by SBA, volunteer organizations, and business resource partners to assist businesses, homeowners, and renters with completing disaster loan applications, answering questions about the loan program, and directing business owners to available resource partners for specialized business counseling.

Disaster Loan Outreach Centers (DLOCs) are staffed by SBA to assist individuals with completing disaster loan applications, answering questions about the loan program, and providing personalized support throughout the application process.

Mobile Assistance Recovery Centers (MARC) are primarily focused on registering survivors for FEMA assistance. These centers are mobile and may only be in an area for a short time to reach survivors needing registration assistance. While SBA typically does not participate in MARCs, it may join upon request from the state to assist FEMA by accepting loan applications and documents.

Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers (MDRC) are public facilities or mobile offices established and managed by FEMA. At these locations, individuals can access information about federal, state, and local disaster assistance programs. SBA staff are also present to assist with disaster loan applications, answer questions about SBA programs, provide help with reconsideration and late application requests, and close loans.

Portable Loan Outreach Centers (PLOC) are rapidly deployable portable systems that offer the same services as a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) or a Business Recovery Center (BRC).
