Look’s Marketplace (69th Street Look’s Market, LLC), currently owned by father-son team D. Greg and Nicholas “Nick” Heineman, has been providing a successful history of products matched with neighborly guest care since 1883. Nick’s food industry experience paired with Greg’s decades of business experience make an excellent combination. During the pandemic, Look’s Marketplace leveraged Small Business Development Center guidance and SBA 504 loans to grow into a 17,000 square foot remodeled marketplace, increasing services and the number of employees from 16 to 110. Look’s Marketplace offers a local neighborhood grocery store, butcher counter, bakery and delicatessen, micro-brewery, beer/wine/liquor sales, and many onsite dining opportunities.
