Tim Houghton attended Arizona State University receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering in 2008. Upon graduation, he returned to Rapid City, South Dakota as a department supervisor. Four years later, he was promoted to Engineer, and in 2016 he was appointed Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of H-S Precision. Tim is continuously learning and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. Under his leadership, H-S Precision has seen a growth in efficiency, an expanded network of OEM partners worldwide, and has introduced state-of-the-art technology into production yielding innovative results. Vivian Houghton grew up in upstate New York where she worked as a registered nurse. In 1977 Vivian and Tom Houghton sold everything they owned and moved to Prescott Arizona to start H-S Precision. Vivian did the accounting and produced the marketing materials while Tom ran the Day to day operations. In 1990 they needed to expand to keep up with ever growing customer demands and moved the business to Rapid City South Dakota through GOED. Since then they have expanded to over 50,000sqft and after Tom passing away in 2016 Vivian took over as President and has been running the company ever since.
