Aneysha Bhat

Aneysha Bhat serves as the Deputy Associate Administrator in SBA's Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs. In this role, she advises the agency’s federal legislative engagement with the U.S. Congress, primarily on the U.S. Senate side.

Prior to joining SBA, Aneysha worked for Senator Tammy Duckworth on a variety of legislative issues, including national security, emerging technology/AI, foreign relations, economic issues, transportation, and infrastructure. Prior to her public sector career, Aneysha worked in the private sector as a Lead AI Engineer, Lead Quality Engineer, and Product Development Engineer in the medical technology industry. 

Aneysha holds an M.A. in Public Policy & Public Administration from Northwestern University, a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Grainger College of Engineering, and a Certification in Entrepreneurship from Wharton School of Business.
