Business Succession Planning

Event description

A workshop on succession planning is to assist businesses in preparing for future ownership transitions. The focus of the workshop is for owners to gain insight prep-work needed to best position the business transition for value to the ownership exiting, the current employees, the community, and the new ownership. The workshop will break down options for ownership, trends in the market, and planning pitfalls and successes for selling or transitioning a business.

FREE Workshop.  All are welcome.

Parking is free on the weekends and after 5 p.m. M-F. You can park in the 3rd Street Park ramp OR in front of the MN BioBusiness Center on 1st Ave SW. We are on the 6th Floor of the MN BioBusiness Center. Watch for signs.

At the start of the workshop: We will ask you to sign in on the class sign up sheet.

At the end of the workshop: We will ask you to fill out a survey.

News/Media notice: There is a chance that News/Media will be in attendance covering the event. If you prefer to not be on camera OR have any photos of you taken, please arrange that with any SBDC personnel at the start of the workshop.
