Participants may attend one, two, six, or all sessions.
Session 9 – Know the Facts: Learn How to Be OSHA Compliant
Event Description:
Business owners may not understand why and how effective safety and health positively impact their business. Safety and health program costs are direct, and the return on investment is often indirect. Business owners often react to immediate upfront expenditures without realizing the negative impact of inadequate safety and health programs. Adequate safety and health programs improve the quality of work, employee morale, employee productivity, reduce turnover, and prevent injuries and accidents. Safety and health programs also reduce liability exposures, decrease insurance costs, and increase compliance with government regulations.
This session is designed to explain the importance of adequate safety and health programs, including how to improve a business's profitability. Additionally, learn how OSHCON can help create and implement adequate safety and health programs.
