The training course will cover fundamental topics concerning the determination of
business costs, and how to integrate these business costs into estimates for bidding
purposes associated with trucking/transportation logistics business.
Focusing on Trucking and Transportation/Logistics Business:
- Discuss Direct and Indirect Costs
- Calculate General Conditions, Company Overhead, Profit, Contingency
- Understand Construction Markup
- Determine The Cost/Hour for a Truck
- Determine The Cost/Hour for a Driver
- Determine the Bid Cost for a Crew (in $/hour)
- Transform Bids from $/hour, to $/ton, to $/cy, to lump sum
- Write a Proposal Containing: Scope of Work, Risk Assumed, Cost, Schedule
