WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Those who are new to the nonprofit sector, want to start a nonprofit, or have recently established a nonprofit and need to know more about IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and management structure. While part of the session applies to New York State, most is general and can be applied to nonprofit organizations in other localities.
EVENT OVERVIEW
Understanding how to launch a nonprofit and implement a solid internal structure will position you for success in the nonprofit sector.
This session led by a facilitator with 30+ years of nonprofit experience will guide potential or recent nonprofit founders on how to form a nonprofit. She will discuss the importance of a business plan and detail its key elements.
