Event description

Small-to-medium-sized businesses that are interested in supplying goods or services to the City of Evansville are invited to attend this information session. Don't miss this chance to network with buyers from several City departments as well as prime contractors and learn what you need to know to prepare for future opportunities.

Please limit registration to two attendees per business to allow seats for others.

Art will provide an overview of services available through the SBDC, including no-cost business advising, training, and resources to support local businesses, as well as the Supplier Development Program, which helps small businesses navigate the process of contracting with government entities, including the City. Information will also be shared about the City of Evansville Revolving Loan Fund and available financing resources for small businesses.

  • Dachenae Streeter, Purchasing Director, City of Evansville

Dachenae will share general guidelines for doing business with the City, including insight into each department's procurement plans for the coming year.

  • Networking & Department Engagement - Buyers from each City department as well as prime contractors will be available to meet with vendors.
