This program is for Waterbury Residents.

Gain a clear understanding of business building fundamentals and emerge from this class with a solid blueprint firmly in hand. Turn your business into a well thought-out road map for your venture. This 7-session course is taught virtually by industry experts in a dynamic peer-to-peer environment and is supported by online tools and decision worksheets to guide you every step of the way.

Waterbury/WBDC Small Business Grant Program is designed to help businesses in the City of Waterbury, Connecticut grow! Grants between $2,500 and $10,000 will be awarded for clearly defined projects that will have a measurable impact on the business, its growth and profitability.The grant funds cannot be used towards operating expenses (e.g. inventory, on-going marketing expenses, salaries), real estate improvements (e.g. construction costs), reimbursement for past purchases or debt repayment. More details and eligibility requirements can be found here: Waterbury Grant Program - WBDC

WBDC Launch Pad Grant is eligible for BCC graduates who complete the course and furnish a completed business plan are invited to apply. This offers newly established businesses the opportunity to receive a $2,500 grant for start-up costs.​ Applicants must complete an application and participate in a pitch competition.
