This program is for Waterbury Residents.
Gain a clear understanding of business building fundamentals and emerge from this class with a solid blueprint firmly in hand. Turn your business into a well thought-out road map for your venture. This 7-session course is taught virtually by industry experts in a dynamic peer-to-peer environment and is supported by online tools and decision worksheets to guide you every step of the way.

Waterbury/WBDC Small Business Grant Program is designed to help businesses in the City of Waterbury, Connecticut grow! Grants between $2,500 and $10,000 will be awarded for clearly defined projects that will have a measurable impact on the business, its growth and profitability.The grant funds cannot be used towards operating expenses (e.g. inventory, on-going marketing expenses, salaries), real estate improvements (e.g. construction costs), reimbursement for past purchases or debt repayment. WBDC Launch Pad Grant is eligible for BCC graduates who complete the course and furnish a completed business plan are invited to apply. This offers newly established businesses the opportunity to receive a $2,500 grant for start-up costs. Applicants must complete an application and participate in a pitch competition.
