Event description
From firing for cause to workplace layoffs, terminating employees requires effective policies and good recordkeeping. Especially during these challenging times, we need to be sure that we are able to consistently support our business needs and enforce the disciplinary process while meeting our compliance obligations. This session reviews best practices for managing the termination process: from setting clear policies and communicating with employees to responding to regulatory agencies. In this session, business owners and managers will be introduced to compliance standards, key steps for developing practices that support their organization’s culture, and cautions to help defend their business.
