We invite you to a special business webinar on January 23 designed to support and guide businesses who are facing financial challenges due to unforeseen circumstances after Tropical Storm Helene. SBAs Office of Disaster Recovery & Resilience goal is to do a deep dive into the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program and other key organizations will give an overview of programs designed to assist business owners with their short- and long-term recovery.
This webinar will include speakers from Tennessee Economic and Community Development, Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Appalachian Women’s Business Center, SBA (TN District Office), financial institution, Operation Hope, East TN Apex Accelerator (Gov. Contracting), Veterans Business Outreach Center and the SBA Disaster Recovery Office.

The Tennessee disaster declaration covers:
Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington counties, which are eligible for both Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA.
Small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations in Grainger, Hancock, Jefferson, Sevier, and Sullivan in Tennessee; Ashe, Avery, Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Watauga, and Yancey in North Carolina; Grayson, Scott and Washington in Virginia are eligible to apply only for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs)
