Event description
Are you an entrepreneur looking to secure a small business loan? Have you been in business for two years or more?
If so, join us at the Are You Lender Ready Series, a two-part series presented by the Virginia SBA District Office designed to help you prepare financially and connect with potential small business lenders.
This series consists of an introductory virtual workshop (February 12) to walk you through the documents needed when applying for a small business loan, followed by an in-person forum (February 19) where you will participate in panel sessions with traditional and alternative lenders.
The in-person forum (February 19) will help you learn about the lenders’ loan programs, and what they look for in the ideal business borrower. The in-person forum (February 19) will also end with a lender matchmaking session, where you can gain critical insights, practical tips, and valuable connections to take your business to the next level. Lastly, we will also have additional office hours sessions to follow-up and provide further assistance throughout your funding journey.
The virtual workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The in-person forum will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the SBA Veterans Business Outreach Center/SBA Women’s Business Center located at 112 Bank Street, Norfolk, VA 23510.
