Event description
What is your business WHY?
Does the idea of preparing a business plan feel overwhelming? Do you feel more excited about your product or service than the business side of things? Are you interested in bringing more mindfulness into your life, including your business?
Whether you've been in business for years or are planning to launch, a mindful, intentional, and authentic plan can serve as your compass.
WBC Business Advisor, Ruth Feldman, will guide you through reflecting on your business in a holistic way; considering the personal, financial, and practical aspects to develop a viable, balanced business and self. In each session, you will work together in a large group, in small break out groups, and through independent reflection exercises.
Throughout MYOB, you'll be joined by Rebecca Wertheimer, founder and owner of Storied. In several of the sessions, Rebecca will provide her expertise on:
- What makes a compelling story,
- How to capture your business origin story,
- How to use your story to promote your business in an authentic and compelling way.
Each session will begin with a short mindfulness practice. Between sessions, you'll receive a prompt that will complement your independent work and will help to you to align your personal passion with your business goals.
During the final session, you will share your business story and celebrate the completion of your business plan draft, having embraced curiosity and reflective exercises along the way.
