Event description
"Put it in Writing! "or "Get it in Writing - Everyone has heard one of these phrases, but what do you think when you hear one of these phrases:
- Do I really need to read the whole thing?
- Can I negotiate the terms in a contract?
- Knowing what is in your contract will save you money time and effort. On the other hand, not knowing what is in a contract can cost you a lot of unplanned money, time, and effort.
By attending this Interactive Workshop, you will find out what is important to look for in a Contract, why it is important to know what is in a Contract, and how to understand what is written in Contracts.
The Facilitator for this Workshop is Ed Lichtenstein. Ed is a SCORE Member and Master Mentor. Ed is a retired Illinois and Pennsylvania Attorney. He spent 30 years drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and administering Contracts for an International Engineering Corporation, an International Construction Corporation, and an International Equipment Manufacturer.
