Topic: Government Contracting
This all-day training course will provide growth-focused small businesses with an in-depth understanding of navigating federal contracting, procurement and strategic marketing to the right federal agencies that buy their goods and services. The course includes overview of FedBizOpps, Acquisition Central, Federal Supply Classification Codes, NAICS, Public Services codes, Knowledge of Federal Contracting Procedures and Regulations and targeting the right contracting agency personnel. This course also covers contracts awarded through SBA certification programs and how to effectively leverage your certifications.
This workshop helps existing small businesses who currently do business with the federal government as well as those working in the commercial sector but want to branch into the federal procurement market, have a better understanding of growing their contracting opportunities. This is an interactive workshop. Familiarity with the Federal Systems of Awards Management (SAM) will be a plus.

Monica Randall - The Randall Group
Monica Randall has over 31 years of experience assisting small businesses of various sizes and industries. Over the course of her 23-year career with SBA, she held many positions including SBA Servicing Loan Officer, Marketing Specialist as well as Business Opportunity Specialist (BOS) within SBA's 8(a) program. In addition to her extensive experience and expertise, she was a former Adjunct Professor with a Community College where she taught courses in Advertising & Sales Promotion, Marketing, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Management Principles as well as Social Media classes. Her belief in the small business community has led Monica to devote her entire career to assisting small businesses with their growth and expansion into the state and federal procurement marketplace.
