Event description

The BTB-Reboot curriculum provides assistance to those interested in exploring business ownership or other self-employment opportunities by leading participants through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and providing foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan. Participants are introduced to a broad spectrum of entrepreneurial business concepts and resources available to access start-up capital, technical assistance, contracting opportunities, and more.

Our Boots to Business-Reboot (B2BR) classes are offered on Tuesdays in a virtual format from 5-7:30pm;( Pacific Standard Time) Two-three MODULES ARE TAUGHT PER WEEK. Must register for each week separately.

 

MODULE 6: INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS PLANNING

OBJECTIVE: Understand the concepts and value of business planning. Learn about tools and models that can help your business planning process. Identify the essential elements of a business plan and focus them, based on your audience. Utilize SBA Resource Partners and tools to develop a viable business plan.

MODULE 7: FINANCING YOUR VENTURE

OBJECTIVE: Understand what types of financing are available for your business. Understand the difference between debt & equity financing. Explore what lenders and investors look for when deciding whether to finance your business.
