If you have an idea, are interested in pursuing your passion, or want to start a business and be your own boss, then you do not want to miss this event.

 

This introductory workshop covers how to go about getting your business off the ground by answering basic questions such as:

~Does my business idea make sense?

~What steps do I take and in what order?

~What business structure do I need?

~How do I secure financing?

~What is a business plan and do I need one?

~What are some issues I may not have considered? And more...

 

Your Instructor: Rick Miller

 

Rick Miller has worked as a business banker, financial consultant, credit specialist, sales coach, HR Professional, and marketing expert for the past 12 years. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Tennessee and has worked previously for Fifth Third Bank, Bank of America, Lipscomb University, and NewsChannel 5. Rick is proud to serve as a SCORE volunteer: “I enjoy volunteering and serving SCORE clients. It provides a terrific opportunity to assist growing companies and their owners develop their vision and execute on their business plans.”  Rick has a BA in Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism from Lipscomb University and an MBA from Middle Tennessee State.
