Documentation and Legal Considerations: Understanding the necessity of maintaining detailed records of performance issues or misconduct and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Conducting the Termination Meeting: Best practices for delivering the news with professionalism and compassion, including who should be present, how to communicate the decision clearly, and what follow-up steps to take.
Severance, Final Pay, and Benefits: Information on managing the employee’s final pay, severance packages, and continuation of benefits to ensure a smooth transition for both the employee and the company.
