This part 1 workshop will cover a deep understanding of conflict, its causes and beginnings and what potentially happens when conflict is not dealt with and left unresolved. We'll talk about how people typically deal with a conflict situation and then begin to understand the Sources, Stages, and conflict handling Style based on the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), leaving off with the 5 "Modes" that we'll cover in Part 2.
Presenter Bob Vear is a professional trainer, manager, and project manager having delivered many different training sessions and presentations for managers at over 70 different companies when he owned and operated his own business called Change Dynamics, Inc. in the 90s and early 2000s. Keeping busy, Bob likes to volunteer as a SCORE Mentor and at the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship in Keene, NH as well as at the Habitat for Humanity and the Friends of Pisgah Park where he can help keep hiking trails open and accessible.
