Event description
Are you looking to start or grow your business and are interested in financing to help the business? In recent years, small business grants have become more limited. But there are still opportunities available. In addition, there are low-interest loans and other financing options you may be missing out on.
In this workshop, we will discuss:
How to search for and apply for National/State/local small business grant opportunities
Review other financing options including mission-based loans, microloans, SBA-backed loans, commercial loans, and equity/investment funding
Discuss key steps to take today to better position your business to utilize these financing opportunities
Speaker(s): Jesus Padilla, Assistant Director, Florida SBDC at FIU
Co-Sponsor(s): The BizGap project in FL-27 is funded by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
