Event description

“Earn Millions as a Government Contractor!” “Serve as the middleman between the government and firms and earn passive income!” Do these claims sound enticing to you? If so, you could be watching videos for middleman strategies.

In the federal government contracting environment, it is critical to steer clear of strategies that may seem rewarding but are fraught with legal and ethical pitfalls. The middleman strategy is one such approach that has recently led to numerous court cases. People are being fined and serving jail time over regulatory violations.

The middleman strategy, where the prime contractor acts as a go-between for the government and the subcontractors, frequently doing minimal actual work, is a tempting but high-risk approach for new entrants in the government contracting space. This game plan often violates the strict limitations on subcontracting and control requirements imposed by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related regulations.
