Event description
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is conducting a technical assistance workshop for minority- and women-owned investors on how to navigate various resources available on the FDIC’s website to learn about the Minority- and Women-Owned Investors program including how to participate in bidding on portfolios of loans and other assets. The FDIC is responsible for disposing of assets from failed banks in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Investors, particularly minority- and women-owned investors, interested in buying or investing in assets, including the following:
· Equity managers, fixed income managers, and hedge fund managers
· Private equity firms, real estate funds, and broker dealers
· Other financial services investors and asset buyers
· Firms seeking to partner with minority- and women-owned businesses
This free virtual event is open to the public and is being sponsored by the FDIC’s Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (DRR), and the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI).
