#NVSBW Award Ceremony - Nimrod Meats

Event description

The SBA Iowa District Office hosts a networking event and the presentation of the SBA Impact Award recognizing Rocky Damiano, a Marine veteran and owner of Nimrod Meats in Iowa Falls, Iowa, for his entrepreneurial vision and contributions to the Iowa small business community. Nimrod Meats opened in 2021 with a dream to bring locally sourced farm products to the table. It slaughters, processes, and packages meat on-site in a 9,800 square foot meat locker. Its farm to table retail store features fresh and frozen cuts of meat, beef sticks, jerky, dairy products, and other healthy items such local honey, elderberry syrup, salts, sauces, popcorn, vitamins, grilling supplies, and more. Rocky opened the business with his wife Karla, a Certified Holistic Health Coach. The retail store is a perfect way to use her expertise to offer healthy products not found in the local community.
