SBA is accepting nominations for the National Small Business Week awards which recognize SBA-assisted small businesses’ inspirational achievements and contributions to their communities and our nation’s economy. We want to help you tell your story. 

Join this webinar to learn about the SBA Vermont District Office's nomination categories, eligibility, submission documents, and tips for writing an award-winning nomination! 

Visit the SBA’s dedicated website at www.sba.gov/nsbw to download forms, criteria, and guidelines for submitting a nomination. The SBA Awards given in celebration of National and District Small Business Week will include the following Vermont District Small Business Week Categories: 

• Small Business Person of the Year (National and District) 

• Small Business Exporter (National and District) 

• Local Awards 

o Family-Owned Small Business of the Year 

o Minority-Owned Small Business of the Year 

o Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year 

o Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year 

o Microenterprise Business of the Year 

o Small Business Manufacturer 

o Young Entrepreneur of the Year 

o Financial Services Champion

The Vermont District Office must receive all nominations by electronic submission ONLY to the District’s BOX account no later than 4 p.m. ET on December 5, 2024.
