Event description

Facilitated by the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division! The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law that provides eligible employees of covered employers (50 or more employees) with unpaid, job-protected leave of up to 12 workweeks for specified family and medical reasons.  This virtual training helps small business employers understand coverage, eligibility, and protections, as well as their responsibilities under the FMLA. There will also be a discussion of the newly enacted PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act, which required that most nursing workers be provided with reasonable break time and a private space to pump at work for up to one year after their child’s birth.

Participants can ask questions using the Chat feature with a real time response.

The webinar session is not recorded, and handouts are provided for attendees after the presentation.
