Sean Casey, co-founder and President of Rotorcorp LLC was a featured Outstanding Exporter Honoree and presenter at last week’s National Small Business Exporter Summit in Savannah, GA.
Casey is a client of the Georgia International Small Business Development Center and graduate of the SBA Emerging Leaders Program. Sean is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), and in 2018, was named “Atlanta Small Business Person of the Year” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Casey was the keynote speaker for the Annual Conference of the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE). NASBITE International is a non-profit organization supporting training and education in the field of global business with a mission “to advance global business practice, education and training.”
Rotorcorp LLC is the world’s largest provider of parts, engines, and major components for Robinson Helicopters. Founded in 2011, Rotocorp now serves over 1,000 customers in 45 countries around the world with exports comprising over half of the company’s revenues.
The Atlanta based company was recognized in 2017 and 2018 on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fasting Growing Companies. The State of Georgia recognized Rotorcorp LLC in 2018 with a “GLOBE” award for entering new international markets.
Rotorcorp’s projected growth is being supported by three SBA guaranteed loans from PNC Bank. SBA Export Express and SBA Express loans are providing export and domestic lines of credit respectively with a Preferred Lenders Program (PLP) term loan refinancing existing debt.
At the NASBITE awards ceremony, Casey noted that without SBA and SBDC support Rotorcorp LLC would not have the level of global growth they have acheived.
We congratulate Casey for these honors and thank him for his willingness to share his experience with others. The Rotorcorp LLC success story is a great example of how SBA and our resource partners can help U.S. small businesses to achieve global market success!
