The SBA provides vital resources to America’s entrepreneurs, who rely on the counseling and training services we provide to help start and grow small businesses. Serving as the Associate Administrator of the SBA’s Office of Entrepreneurial Development, I oversee the SBA’s resource partner network – including the Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) – that make up a nationwide footprint of business counselors dedicated to training and mentoring entrepreneurs.
On March 21, we spotlight SBDC Day. SBDC Day unites the nearly 1, 000 SBDC’s nationwide, marking the impact that the SBDC’s have had on the successful development of small businesses.
The SBDC’s offer free and low-cost training and counseling, helping aspiring entrepreneurs realize their dream of business ownership and helping existing small business owners remain competitive in an ever-changing global economy.
Join the celebration by visiting your local Small Business Development Center today. There are nearly 1, 000 SBDC’s in the U.S., Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. You can find a local SBDC by visiting www.sba.gov/local-assistance.
