ORLANDO – On Thursday, August 8th, Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), traveled to Orlando, FL. to deliver remarks at the Annual LendingCon Conference and hosted a roundtable discussion with Representative Maxwell Frost focused on technology and innovation.
SBA had center stage at the 4th Annual LendingCon event held in Orlando, Florida where SBA Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed keynoted the meeting with over 800 attendees. The attendees include hotel owners, small businesses in the hospitality sector including women, veterans, and minorities . The theme of this year’s conference was Your platform for Financial Growth, Development and Leverage and Deputy Administrator Syed discussed how the Biden-Harris Administration’s historic investments are powering record growth and enabling new hoteliers to thrive. Last year, SBA backed $1.7B in working capital & $732M in real estate loans to hoteliers.
SBA Deputy Administrator Syed and Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost held a roundtable session at the Central Florida Tech Grove with the organizations that form the Tech Grove, including academia, small businesses, Department of Defense and industry. The Tech
