SBA, SCORE and Operation Hope Join Forces to Host Business Resource Workshop for West Virginia Businesses

ATLANTA – As a result of the severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that impacted many counties in West Viriginia on Aug. 28-30, 2023, a collaborative effort is underway to support business owners with resources to help them rebuild. The Workshop, scheduled April 19, will provide critical resources and assistance to those affected by the disaster.   

The event, organized by the Small Business Administration, Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience (ODR&R), SCORE Mid-Atlantic, and Operation Hope, will offer a comprehensive range of services to aid impacted businesses. Attendees will have access to one-on-one counseling, finance education, business mentorship, marketing services, and much more.  

Registration is open to all businesses, non-profit organizations, and the entrepreneurial community seeking to network and gain valuable resource information.

To be considered for economic injury disaster assistance, applicants may apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information at sba.gov/disaster. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. The filing deadline to return economic injury applications is Oct. 30, 2024
