SBA Business Recovery Centers in West Virginia Changes Operating Hours; Permanently Closing March 29

Atlanta – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that due to a steady decrease in activity, its Business Recovery Centers will be closed on Saturdays, effective immediately and will close permanently Friday, March 29 at close of business.   

Customer Service Representatives at SBA’s Business Recovery Centers will assist business owners complete their disaster loan application, accept documents for existing applications, and provide status on loan applications. The Centers will operate as indicated below:

Harrison County 

 

Harrison County Courthouse Assessor’s Office 

301 West Main St. 

Clarksburg, WV 26301 

 

Hours:          Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

 

Closed:        Saturdays & Sundays 

Closes permanently: Friday, March 29 at 4 p.m. 

SBA Business Recovery Center (BRC)  

Kanawha County 

 

Charleston Area Alliance 

1116 Smith St. 

Charleston, WV 25301 

 

Hours:       Monday- Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

 

Closed:      Saturdays & Sundays 

Closes permanently: Friday, March 29 at 5 p.m. 

 

Applicants may apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information at SBA.gov/disaster. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 6592955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.  

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is April 1, 2024.  The deadline to return economic injury applications is Dec. 30, 2024.
