Atlanta – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today its Business Recovery Center (BRC) in North Providence will be closed Monday, Feb. 19, in observance of Presidents’ Day. The Center will resume normal operations on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 9 a.m. SBA opened the Center to assist businesses applying for SBA disaster loans for the severe storms, flooding and tornadoes that occurred Sept. 10-13, 2023.
SBA’s friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives are available to answer questions, help with applications, upload documents, check an application’s status, and assist with reconsideration requests. The Center is operating as indicated below until further notice:

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Applicants may apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information at sba.gov/disaster. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 6592955 or email DisasterCustomerService@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is March 7, 2024. The deadline to return economic injury applications is Oct. 7, 2024.
