CORRECTION: SBA Announces Holiday Closing of Disaster Loan Outreach Center in North Carolina; Center will close permanently on Feb. 20

Atlanta – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience, announced today its Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Catawba County will close Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents’ Day.  The Center will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. and will close permanently at 4 p.m.

SBA’s friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives are available to answer questions, help apply for an SBA Disaster Loan, upload documents, check an application’s status, and assist with reconsideration requests for the loan.

Hours:             Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

                          Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Holiday Closure: Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents’ Day                                      

Permanently Closes:  Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m.

 

Applicants may apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information at sba.gov/disaster.  Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is April 1, 2024. The deadline to return economic injury applications is Nov. 1, 2024.
