ATLANTA - The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience announced today it is closing the Business Recovery Centers (BRCs) in Cook County on Jan. 9, 2024, due to Inclement Weather Conditions. Both centers will resume normal operation on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024.
SBA’s friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives at the Business Recovery Centers will assist business owners complete their disaster loan application, accept documents for existing applications, and provide status on loan applications. The Oak Forest Municipal Complex hours of operation have changed to 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Centers will operate as indicated below until further notice:

Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659 2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
The filing deadline for returning applications for property damage is Jan. 19, 2024. The deadline to apply for economic injury application is Aug. 20, 2024.
