SBA Business Recovery Center in Boone County Extends Closing Date to Wednesday, July 26

Atlanta – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today it will extend the closing date for the Business Recovery Center in Boone County to Wednesday, July 26, 2023. The Center was originally scheduled to close on July 22, but due to increased activity will remain open three more days.  SBA opened the Centers to assist Illinois businesses affected by severe storms on March 31, 2023.

Until then, SBA’s friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives are available to answer questions, help apply for an SBA Disaster Loan, upload documents, check an application’s status, and assist with reconsideration requests for the SBA Disaster Loan.

Business owners in any of the declared counties can get help at the following BRC locations:

Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at DisasterLoanAssistance.sba.gov/ela/s and should apply under SBA declaration # 17983.

Disaster loan information and application forms may also be obtained by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or emailing DisasterCustomerService@sba.gov. Loan applications may be downloaded at sba.gov/disaster Completed applications should be returned to the center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

The filing deadline to return economic injury applications is April 3, 2024.
