have been added to the Presidential disaster declaration for Public Assistance resulting from damages caused by Tropical Storm Michael on Oct. 9 - 16, 2019.

James City
, King and Queen,
King William
,
Lancaster
, Lunenburg,
Martinsville City
,
Mecklenburg
,
Middlesex
, Montgomery, New Kent,
Northampton
, Northumberland, Nottoway, Pittsylvania, Powhatan, Prince Edward, Rappahannock, Richmond, Roanoke and
Westmoreland
counties in
Virginia
are eligible to apply.

Eligible mitigation improvements may now include a safe room or storm shelter to help protect property and occupants from future damage caused by a similar disaster.
