Wye Mills – Need working capital to start or grow your small business? Looking to expand? If so, then plan to attend the free Rural Small Business Finance and Speed Lending event on May 8 from 11am-2pm at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Md.

This workshop is your chance to meet with small business assistance organizations and lenders to learn more about the many opportunities available for entrepreneurial success. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be joined by representatives from various assistance and lending organizations, including:  U.S. Department of Agriculture – Rural Development MD/DE, Maryland Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC), SCORE and Maryland Capital Enterprises. Presentations will be followed by an information trade fair and speed lending opportunities. Registrants will sign-up in advance to meet directly with lenders regarding their financing needs. Similar to speed dating, Speed Lending participants will have four minutes to meet individually with a lender before moving on to meet with the next lender.

Given the personalized nature of this event, advance registration is required. Register online at: http://tinyurl.com/y2f55xrr. Additional information can be found online at www.sba.gov/md or by calling the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Baltimore District Office (410) 244-3337.
