NC 15696 - SBA Opens Business Recovery Centers in Bladen and Johnston Counties, North Carolina

ATLANTA –

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the opening of Business Recovery Centers (BRCs) in Bladen and Johnston counties on Oct. 1, to help businesses impacted by Hurricane Florence.  Other BRCs in Carteret, Craven, Cumberland, New Hanover, Pitt and Robeson counties are already in operation.

SBA representatives at the Centers can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and assist businesses in completing the SBA application.  The Centers are located as indicated below and will operate until further notice.


Bladen County

“The SBA is committed to facilitating economic recovery in this disaster.  We want area businesses to have a resource where they can meet individually with SBA representatives and find out how a


low-interest disaster loan can help them recover,” said Kem Fleming, director of SBA’s Field Operations Center East in Atlanta.

The SBA offers low-interest, long-term disaster loans for physical damage and working capital. Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via the SBA’s secure website at

DisasterLoan.sba.gov

To be considered for all forms of disaster assistance, applicants should register online at

or download the FEMA mobile app. If online or mobile access is unavailable, applicants should call the FEMA toll-free helpline at 800-621-3362. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services should call 800-621-3362.
