NC 15696 - SBA Temporarily Closes Business Recovery Center in Columbus County Today Due to Inclement Weather

ATLANTA –

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today, that the Business Recovery Center in Columbus County,

North Carolina

will temporarily close on

Wednesday, Nov. 28

due to inclement weather and resume their scheduled hours on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 10:30 a.m.

SBA’s staff has been working diligently to assist businesses, homeowners and renters in applying for an SBA low-interest disaster loan and recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.  SBA’s Customer Service Representatives continue to operate at temporary locations to answer program questions, assist in applying for an SBA disaster loan and help with the appeal process.

The Centers are located and open as indicated below.

The SBA offers low-interest, long-term disaster loans for physical damage and working capital. Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via the SBA’s secure website at

To be considered for all forms of disaster assistance, applicants should register online at

DisasterAssistance.gov

or download the FEMA mobile app. If online or mobile access is unavailable, applicants should call the FEMA toll-free helpline at 800-621-3362. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services should call 800-621-3362.
