The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) opened a Business Recovery Center (BRC) in Collier County on Sept. 22 to help businesses impacted by Hurricane Irma that began on Sept. 4, 2017.
SBA representatives in the Center can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and assist businesses in completing the SBA application. The Center is located as indicated below and will operate until further notice.

Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Closed: Sundays
“The SBA is committed to facilitating economic recovery in this disaster. We want area businesses to have a resource where they can meet individually with SBA representatives and find out how a low-interest disaster loan can help them recover,” said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA’s Field Operations Center East in Atlanta.
The Naples Accelerator has opened its doors to facilitate a Business Recovery Center in Collier County where businesses impacted by Hurricane Irma can apply for an SBA disaster loan. Businesses may also want to consult with a local SCORE or Small Business Development Center (SBDC) counselor who can recreate business records, prepare financial statements and help the business apply for an SBA disaster loan at no cost.
The SBA offers low-interest, long-term disaster loans for physical damage and working capital. To be considered for this assistance, survivors need to apply by the deadline.
