SBA Administrator Linda McMahon statement on House Passage of H.R. 1

...
WASHINGTON – The following statement was made by U.S. Small Business Administration Administrator Linda McMahon on House Passage of H.R. 1:

“I am encouraged by the positive action of the House passing H.R. 1 today, which is the first step in fixing the current outdated and burdensome tax-code.  The legislative process is working, and I look forward to seeing the Senate act soon, so that Congress can reconcile the bills and get real tax- reform done for the American people. Real tax-reform means tax cuts for middle-class families; simplifying the code; and cutting taxes for businesses of all sizes so they can grow, create new jobs, raise wages for workers, and increase their competitiveness in the global marketplace…just as the President promised during the campaign.”
