ATLANTA –

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that on Monday, Nov. 13, its Mobile Business Recovery Center (BRC) will continue SBA’s weekly tour, visiting five municipalities to help businesses impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria to obtain low interest disaster loans.

The Mobile BRC will travel to the municipalities of Orocovis, Carolina, Isabela, San Sebastián and Gurabo. SBA representatives will provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and assist businesses in completing the SBA application.

“Businesses and nonprofit organizations may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets,” said SBA Puerto Rico & U.S. Virgin Islands District Director, Yvette T. Collazo.

SBA reminds businesses that the following items are required to be submitted with their business disaster loan application:

  • SBA business loan application (Form 5) completed and signed.

  • Tax Information Authorization (IRS Form 4506-T), completed and signed by each applicant, principal or affiliated business.

  • Complete copies, including all schedules, of the most recent Federal income tax returns for the applicant business; an explanation if not available.

  • Hacienda Form 2907, Hacienda Authorization and copy of identification.

  • Personal Financial Statement (SBA Form 413) completed, signed, and dated by the applicant (if a sole proprietorship) and for each principal

  • Schedule of Liabilities listing all fixed debts (SBA Form 2202 may be used).
