ATLANTA –

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that the Business Recovery Center in Dougherty County will close permanently on Monday, March 27.

SBA representatives at the Business Recovery Center (BRC) can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions, and help businesses in completing the low-interest disaster loan application.

The Center is located as indicated below:

Hours:  Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Closing:  Monday, March 27 at 5 p.m.

Applicants may be eligible for a loan amount increase up to 20 percent of their physical damages, as verified by the SBA for mitigation purposes, including a safe room or storm shelter.

Businesses unable to visit a Center may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at

https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela

Disaster loan information and application forms may also be obtained by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to
