The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding Private NonProfit (PNP) organizations in
South Carolina
of the
July 18
deadline to submit Economic Injury Disaster Loan applications for damages caused by Hurricane Matthew that began on Oct. 30, 2016.
PNPs that provide non-critical services located Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Calhoun, Charleston, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Colleton, Darlington, Dillon, Dorchester, Florence, Georgetown, Hampton, Horry, Jasper, Kershaw, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Orangeburg, Richland, Sumter and Williamsburg counties in
South Carolina
are eligible to apply to SBA. Examples of eligible non-critical PNP organizations include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools and colleges.

Loan amounts can be up to $2 million with an interest rate of 2.625 percent and terms up to 30 years. The SBA sets loan amounts and terms based on each applicant’s financial condition.
