TN 15014 - SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Closes Permanently on Feb. 27; Over $10 Million Approved for Tennessee Disaster Survivors

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that the Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee

will close permanently at 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 27, 2017

.  In addition, over $10 million in SBA disaster assistance has been approved statewide.
“Currently, SBA has approved $10,075,500 in disaster loans for affected survivors,” said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA’s Field Operations Center East in Atlanta.  “We are pleased to get these loans approved so residents in the disaster area can start to rebuild and resume their normal lives.  I encourage businesses that have not submitted an SBA disaster loan application to do so as quickly as possible.”
SBA representatives at the Center can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and help businesses in completing the SBA application.  The Center is located as indicated below:

Hours:  Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Closed:  Saturdays and Sundays
