FL 14886 - SBA Opens Business Recovery Center in Citrus County for Hurricane Hermine Survivors

ATLANTA –

The U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today the opening of a Business Recovery Center (BRC) at the West Citrus Center, Citrus County on Oct. 12 to help businesses impacted by Hurricane Hermine.  This center is in addition to the Business Recovery Center already operating in Hillsborough County.

These Centers are located as indicated below, until further notice:

Citrus County

West Citrus Center

1540 N. Meadowcrest Blvd

Crystal River, FL 34429

Hours:  Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Hillsborough County

Florida SBDC at USF at Port Tampa Bay

1101 Channelside Drive, #210

Tampa, FL 33602

Hours:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

“Businesses with physical damages or in need of working capital as a result of the disaster should consider visiting the Centers and applying for an SBA disaster business loan.    SBA’s customer service representatives are on hand at the Centers to answer questions about the disaster loan program and assist business owners in completing their applications,” said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA’s Field Operations Center East in Atlanta.

The SBA offers low-interest, long-terms disaster loans for physical damage and working capital. To be considered for this assistance, survivors need to apply by the deadline.
