ATLANTA – The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today the closing of the Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Nassau County.  The Center will cease operations on Fri., Feb. 26 at 5 p.m.

SBA’s Customer Service Representatives will still be available at the other Centers located throughout the New York area to assist businesses, nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters that were affected by Superstorm Sandy. Survivors are encouraged to visit the centers to receive one-on-one assistance from representatives in applying for low-interest disaster loans. No appointment is necessary.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Dec. 1, 2016 . The deadline to return economic injury applications is Dec. 1, 2016 .
