Katie Butler is the Managing Attorney at Torch. She is a business attorney with expertise in internet technology and associated risks, with deep experience in security incident response. She assists her clients with compliance initiatives and commercial transactions. She is a sucker for a well-drafted contract.

Katie’s practice focuses on counseling companies to develop compliance concerning privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations and, often, through tech transactions. She is a Fellow of Information Privacy through the International Association of Privacy Professionals and holds several related certifications.
