Nevada Small Business Development Center and UNLV’s Office of Economic Development are hosting a 6-week in-person course providing insight on several Construction business topics and the State of Nevada Contractors Board application. You will be given a firsthand opportunity to connect with professionals in the
construction industry for guidance and support, as well as resources on how to get your contractor’s license!

George Garcia joined the SBDC team eager to share his expertise with the southern Nevada business community. George is a highly committed and dynamic mentor, providing solutions in the area of Business Financing, Business Planning, Organizational Management, Leadership, Developing top-performing teams, Succession Planning and Franchising. To best identify the needs of business owners, George leans on his 26+ years of experience managing for some of the most respected financial institutions, including US Bank, Citibank, Bank of America and Wells Fargo. George believes in a balance between work and family. He has a beautiful wife and three great children. As a family, they enjoy traveling, watching classic movies and having a full discussion on their favorite part and why. Personally, he enjoys golf, bowling, grilling and planning their next family vacation.
