Event description

A report by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in 2023 found that women-owned businesses are significantly less likely to receive bank loans compared to their male counterparts. This webinar is designed to equip female entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the often-complex world of business funding. The session delves into diverse funding options such as debt financing, equity capital, small business loans, venture capital, and micro loans, offering advice to address the specific challenges and opportunities encountered by women-owned businesses. By the end of the session, you will be equipped with the confidence and resources needed to take your funding journey to the next level and ensure your business thrives.

You Will Learn How To:

  • Master the 5 C's of Credit and understand the critical components that lenders evaluate, including Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Conditions, and how to strengthen your business profile to meet these criteria.
  • Explore Types of Capital: Gain insight into the various types of capital available to businesses, including debt, equity, and hybrid options, and how to determine which type is best suited for your business needs.
  • Unlock Funding with Proven Tips: Discover actionable strategies for unlocking business funding, including building strong relationships with lenders, being thoroughly prepared with documentation and financials, and establishing a solid financial foundation.
  • Engage in 'Ask the Lenders': Participate in an interactive Q&A session where you can ask experienced lenders directly about their expectations, preferences, and advice for securing funding, helping you tailor your approach to meet lender expectations.
